Rest Well

We've all heard the term "beauty sleep." It implies that falling asleep can be part of our beauty routine. But what happens when we can't fall asleep, when we don't put in our full eight hours? Our beauty routine suffers. We break out, our eyelids sag, our wrinkles deepen. It's impossible to put our best face forward.

I had the opportunity to test out a product aimed at combatting sleeplessness. This melatonin cream by Vita Sciences is a quick way to make sure sleep works for you.

I don't normally have a hard time falling asleep. But Sunday nights are tough for me, because I don't stick to my sleep schedule on weekends. So I've normally slept in Sunday morning, maybe taken a nap after church, and I'm not really ready to fall asleep when 10 o'clock rolls around. That's when I've made use of this product.

The directions could not be simpler: at bedtime, rub one pump of cream onto your arms and legs. There's no strange odor, and it helps decrease the time it takes to fall asleep, increase sleepiness, and increase sleep duration. Be warned, though...this stuff works! So you don't want to use it when you only have time for a few hours of sleep. Plan ahead and use it when you need to make sure to get a full night's sleep in.

There is 3 mg of melatonin per dose. This is a great, fast-acting alternative to melatonin pills.

I received this product free in exchange for an honest review. I will never post opinions on De Nouveau Review that are not entirely my own.
